This dataset contains information about the rewards that acacia trees (Vachellia collinsii, formerly Acacia collinsii) produce for the ants, depending on the type of association with the ants (parasitic, mutualistic or trees without ants). The measured rewards included in the dataset are: spine length, spine diameter, spine volume, number of nectaries per leaf, and ant species inhabiting the acacia tree (Crematogaster crinosa, Pseudomymex nigropilosus, P. gracilis, P. spinicola). Units are provided in the column name on the dataset.
