Abstract

Sediment cores were collected in at the St. Jones and Blackbird Creek Reserves in Delaware between 2017-2019 with the goal of measuring organic matter, sediment carbon, and dry bulk density. These data were used to assess the variability, mean, and range of carbon densities within two Delaware tidal marshes. An analysis of these data are available in the Journal of Coastal Conservation (St.Laurent et al, 2020).
