Investigating the Genetic mating system in the Antarctic Sea Spider Nymphon australe

Published on by Jessica Zehnpfennig

This project analyzed 3RAD derived single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) to investigate the genetic mating systems of the abuandant and putatively circumpolar antarctic sea spider Nymphon australe. We analyzed SNPs of individual larvae from offspring carrying males and inferred paternal full and half sibships, and parentage for specimens of N.australe colected off of Eastern Antarctic conintental shelf.
